Named for the Isle of Man TT, the mountain circuit where riders survive by refusing to hesitate. Designed to the millimeter: a custom dial we couldn't buy off the shelf, and a 2 o'clock pusher that isn't round, which forced us to engineer a welded sheath with its own gasket to keep the case waterproof. Day and month complications, Japan-made automatic movement, domed sapphire crystal, 316L steel case in black PVD. The watch you actually wear, not the one you're afraid to.
Most watches in this category swap a dial pattern onto a stock movement and call it a new watch. We designed the Manx around a custom dial specified to the millimeter, and when that created engineering problems, we solved them instead of compromising the design. Three custom Sellita-based movements are already in development for future releases.

An exhibition caseback frames a self-winding Miyota 9122 automatic, reliable, honest, serviceable. Three custom Sellita-based movements are in development for future Mercier releases. Every Manx sold funds the next one.
Dings and scratches are proof, not damage. An older Mercier with a real patina is worth more than a factory-perfect one that never left the box.
A double nod. To Alex Mercer in the video game Prototype (if you say our name wrong, you'll get it), and to the anime convention where a strike-through says this identity is behind me now. The mark identifies the moment a piece leaves prototype status. It passed the gauntlet. It's yours.
February 2025. Sitting at my desk about to send my Omega in for service. Paused, said it out loud. Went full send that afternoon — started designing, refined it again, and again, worked with a watch engineer on everything my skill set couldn't cover.
Manx is named for the Isle of Man TT, the road race where you survive by being willing to be afraid and going anyway. That's the only way I know how to build a company. That's the only way this one works.
